How to Catch 3-Star Fish
Match nets, tranquilizers and the Recovery Drone to fish size so valuable targets reach Bancho Sushi alive.
Catch stars measure quality, not rarity
The dependable route to three stars is a live capture. Killed fish arrive at lower quality even when the species itself is rare.
- Net compatible small fish and collect them directly
- Use upgraded nets and the drone for larger compatible targets
- Tranquilize fish outside net rules, wait for sleep, then call the drone
Build for the target
Do not expect one tool to capture every creature. Bosses and some very large species use special encounter rules.
- Small Net Gun for compact schools
- Steel Net Gun for stronger compatible fish
- Hush Dart or Tranquilizer Rifle for large targets
- Keep drone charges for the fish that actually require them
Turn quality catches into supply
Once the Fish Farm opens, keep pairs of priority recipe fish and move surplus to the restaurant before tanks become crowded.
- Protect slow-to-catch species
- Prioritize multi-ingredient recipes
- Sell only true surplus after recipe and upgrade needs
